Kyra joined H.U.G. driven by her childhood experiences with mentors who guided her through personal and intellectual challenges. These experiences sparked her commitment to helping young people and enhancing digital literacy across our community.
In her role, Kyra is pivotal in integrating digital literacy with traditional educational programs, preparing our learners to thrive in a digitally-driven world. She focuses on making our learning environments safe and secure, ensuring that our students can learn without fear of data breaches or privacy issues. This security empowers both students and tutors, fostering confidence and character development.
Kyra envisions H.U.G. expanding its reach and impact, particularly in underprivileged areas, over the next few years. She is dedicated to advancing our cybersecurity measures and enhancing digital literacy education, preparing our community to navigate the challenges of the digital age safely and ethically.
She believes strongly in the power of education to create equality and enhance lives, emphasizing the importance of achieving grade-level reading by the third grade as a foundation for future success.
